contemporary mid-century

we were thrilled to work with Julia & David who were desperately in need of help in turning their newly purchased apartment into a modern home. Living overseas in Seattle, they were flying blind, and needed help in updating the apartment in order to maximise rental income, prior to them returning back to Sydney.

Overlooking the water in Elizabeth Bay, and sitting in a beautiful historical building, meant there were some challenges during the renovation which certainly tested our creative and problem solving skills. However, working within strict guidelines, we were able to deliver two brand new bathrooms that maximised their tight floor plan, a new bar area, and updates to flooring, lighting, in-built wardrobes and colours.

A strong black and white colour palette was chosen with hints of a heritage vibe through the use of these stunning patterned floor tiles, herringbone feature walls and custom made vintage wall lights.

Julia and David were delighted with what we were able to achieve and are excited to return next year when we'll look to update the rest of the apartment.

"I just saw a few pictures and literally wanted to cry! The bathrooms are stunning - the thought, persistence and care was so important to the final result. We were crazy to do this sight unseen and crazy lucky to have stumbled into you. Truly thank you!
