Charlie Cooper – Principal Designer

After studying Psychology at university and working as an HR Manager for a global business and consulting company, Charlie began to realise that she needed something more creative. Making the bold move to retrain and study as an Interior Designer, she launched ‘Interiors by Charlie’ over seven years ago, and has never looked back. Although, she still calls on her ‘people skills’ when getting to know what her clients really want.

 

With a large and busy household herself, she knows how important it is to have a home that you can be proud of, but equally functions as a family home.

 

"I pride myself in always pulling together a concept that our clients love and putting my absolute all into each project. Whether it's scaling every supplier to source that perfect piece, finding the ideal layout in that awkward shaped room, or solving an on-site problem that may cost time and money."

 

Her clients describe her as “professional, open, caring, and brutally honest.” They implicitly trust her, and love the drive and results she brings to their projects.

 

Personally, her favourite work includes family homes based on the northern beaches, involving kitchen and bathroom renovations, and full house furnishing projects. She loves to work with busy professionals who are looking for a turn-key design solution to their renovation.
