contemporary with a little edge......

this unique five bedroom, three bathroom family home with multiple living spaces, set in freshwater, was built from the ground up. Managing the whole design process from initial concepts and layouts, through to selecting and sourcing every fixture and fitting, furniture item and styling piece, this was a monster project taking over a year to complete.

The  family weren't looking for a typical beachside look, but something quite the opposite.......except for their guest bedroom, where they wanted to pay tribute to their location for their overseas guests. Colour was important but they wanted to keep the bones of the home reasonably neutral, focusing on a black, grey and white colour palette. Focusing on a contemporary style, they also wanted to have a little fun with unexpected pieces.

There were a number of features installed throughout the home including the main living space with 4.5m ceilings, a bioethanol eco-friendly fireplace, a pool room with bar, and even an in-built laundry chute..... but the stunning brick feature wall and staircase was our favourite!

The whole family were delighted with the results and couldn't wait to move in!
